We’re pairing the simple joy of a flexi pet with a welcoming character page. Here’s how the planned experience will work.
A small, 3D-printed flexi pet with its own personality. Hospital teams will help determine which designs, materials, and ages are suitable.
With a compatible NFC-enabled phone, tap near the tag and open the link. A QR code or short web address will offer another way to visit.
Read your buddy’s story and enjoy a message of encouragement. The page belongs to the character, and there’s no account to create.

Take a little look
You can try the character page right now, on a phone, tablet, or computer. It’s a small story and a few kind thoughts, made for an easy visit.
The physical NFC tags have not yet been programmed. Phone compatibility, tap placement, and QR codes will be checked before companions are distributed.
No account is needed. A parent, caregiver, or hospital team member can open the character page on a compatible device. The physical buddy can be enjoyed on its own.
The planned QR code and short address will open the same page in a web browser. An internet connection is needed to load it.
The planned tag will contain a link to a shared character page. The buddy pages do not ask for names or personal information, and the project does not use the tag to identify a child.
The buddies are intended as little companions and moments of encouragement. We make no medical or therapeutic claims. Suitability and acceptance will be discussed with each hospital.
